Security Officer - Monks Cross Shopping Centre
Purpose of the Role
To aid in the smooth running of the Shopping Centre, from customer service to Health & Safety. Providing a safe and secure environment for all who visit and work at the centre.
The purpose of the role is to ensure the property continues to be a safe place to work and visit, maintaining high standards of Health&Safety.
To provide a visual deterrent and aid in the Prevention and Detection of crime.
The role is mainly customer service as we are customers facing at all times whether that be customers to the Centre or tenants.
Key Responsibilities
- Customer Service
- Health and Safety
- Operating the CCTV System, by a suitable licence person although training will be arranged (SIA Licensed)
- Patrolling and Securing various areas
- Maintaining Paperwork
- Controlling Access and Egress
- Emergency Procedures
- First Aid and Incident/scene management
Skills, Knowledge and Experience
- First Aid
- A Frontline Licence holder
- SIA CCTV Licence holder (Preferred)
- Experience of Health&Safety
- Customer Service Experience
- Retail Security Experience
- Counter Terrorism awareness
Working Hours - 4 On 4 Off – Monday to Friday 0800 to 2000 Saturdays 0700 to 1900 & Sundays 0600 to 1800
Salary - £25,623
