Security Service Engineer

Security Service Engineer required. Our client is a well established Fire & Security Company based in the West Midlands, looking for someone to join the team and cover the area as a Security Service Engineer due to the growth of the business.

Successful candidates will maintain Electronic Security Systems (Access Controls, CCTV and Intruder Alarms) in line with current standards and Customer requirements. They will be responsible for the service and maintenance of Electronic Security Systems and from time to time, small installation works.

Security Service Engineer Position Overview

• Maintain Electronic Security Systems within our area of coverage.
• Respond to service calls on all types of Security Systems and concerns with a sense of urgency as and when required.
• Plan and respond to routine and re-active call visits.
• Maintain effective communication with customers when planning site visits.
• Maintain stock levels on your vehicle with support from the Stores/Management team.
• Be available for site surveys and installation handovers as directed by your Service Manager.
• Installation of small works projects, end to end process with full commissioning.
• Take part in the call out rota for the area.
• To attend and assist with troublesome sites and complaints.
• Technically support Sales Team with quotations.
• Initial planning of PPM on large/ complex sites - meeting with customers in support of key sites in region.
• Take ownership of all customers in relation to all aspects of service delivery.
• Attend training sessions as and when required.
• Attend Engineering team meetings as and when required.
• Be available to work overtime and weekends when required.
• Identify any personal training and development needs to help you provide the best possible customer service.

Security Service Engineer Position Requirements

• 3+ years of experience in a similar position
• Full UK Driving licence
• Experience with products such as Access Controls, CCTV and Intruder alarms.

Security Service Engineer Position Remuneration

• Working Hours: 8am- 5pm
• Salary: £25,000- £35,000 (Potentially more based on experience)
• Holiday Package: 20 days + 8BH
• Company Van, Mobile, Laptop, uniform and equipment (tester, meter, drill etc)
• Overtime available
• Call out rota 1 in 3 weeks with £100 retainer
• Pension
