Seed Operators Required for Seasonal Work

Immediate Starts Available

This is seasonal work required for our client that will begin at the start of August 23, through to the end of October 23, we are looking for people to assist their Machine Operators on various sites across the UK. This will be a live in role until the season is over and we require dedicated workers to support throughout this season.

Luton - LU1

Role and key responsibilities for the Seed Operators:
  • Preparing machines, equipment, materials supplies for planned job
  • Setting up machines, and preparing bags and labels
  • Controlling the bag filling, monitor chemical coverage of seed, record production, and labelling of the bags
  • Assisting cleaning machines between varieties and seed lots
  • Clean and pack away machines and all equipment
  • Adhering to the rules and regulations stipulated under FEPA and COSHH
  • Ensuring health and safety policies, rules and regulations are adhered to and accidents reported following the correct procedure
  • Any other duties as defined by your Manager / Machine Operator

Minimum Requirements:
  • Prepared to live on site for up to 3 months
  • Physically fit
  • Hard working and dedicated
  • Ability to change and adapt to an ever changing day
  • Full driving license (UK or EU accepted)
  • Ability to work long hours up to and over 60 hours

Pay rate: £12.63 per hour
Overtime: £18.95 after 40 hours

Standard Working hours:
Monday to Friday : 06:00 17:00
May vary, dependant on the business needs, overtime expected
