Are you a seasoned professional with a passion for sustainable development and energy-efficient technologies? E.ON is seeking an Expert Advisor to lead our efforts in the low carbon transition, focusing on Future Homes Standard (FHS), Part L, and innovative energy-related technologies. This pivotal role involves acting as the go-to expert for developers navigating these changes and advising on cutting-edge technologies for new build homes and the built environment.

Key Responsibilities

  • Serve as the expert on the needs of developers for low carbon transition, focusing on FHS, Part L, and energy technologies.

  • Advise on technology deployment for E.ON's new build homes and the built environment.

  • Collaborate with the new build market to inform strategic decisions in building, buying, or partnering to enhance technical capabilities.

  • Identify and leverage synergies across E.ON's product portfolio to introduce innovative solutions to the New Build market.

  • Drive the development and adoption of technical delivery capabilities, such as heat pumps, in line with FHS in the New Build Market.

  • Lead the creation of effective propositions for our customer segments and industry, ensuring they deliver significant value.

  • Guide market understanding and leverage E.ON's position to maximize customer engagement and market access.

  • Develop and inform energy tariffs in collaboration with E.ON Next Commercial and Pricing teams.

  • Enhance the sales pipeline by identifying and seizing market opportunities.

  • Manage a complex portfolio of products and integrated propositions across the value chain.

  • Create investment proposals to secure funding for key product initiatives.

  • Lead virtual teams to ensure exceptional customer experience throughout the product lifecycle.

  • Define market potential by integrating customer needs, competitor analysis, and E.ON's capabilities.

  • Scan the marketplace for growth opportunities and develop them into viable propositions.

  • Support the commercial team with competitor insights and market intelligence to optimize financial performance and negotiations.

  • Foster strong relationships within E.ON and with third parties to promote and develop our product roadmap.

  • Produce essential product information to support marketing efforts.

  • Track market trends to identify opportunities and threats.

  • Oversee post-launch product management, both strategically and tactically.

  • Develop and manage strategic supplier relationships to ensure overall performance.

  • Liaise with legal, financial, regulatory, and operational teams to ensure product compliance and relevance.

  • Assist in the adoption and sign-off of new products, providing detailed IP, cost-benefit analysis, and risk mitigation.
