Semi-Senior Accountant - Croydon

Venrec are pleased to be recruiting on behalf of our client for a Semi-Senior Accountant to join their accountancy practice in Croydon.

The role entails (but is not limited to):

• Liaising with clients and third parties as required.
• Preparing and reviewing statutory accounts for clients with reconciliation and schedules to support all entries.
• Preparing VAT returns for clients with various needs and managing client queries.
• Performing book-keeping duties for clients when necessary.
• Reviewing work carried out by other members of the team.
• Ad hoc tasks as required by the company.

A successful candidate will have:

• Previous experience working within accountancy practices (ideally 3 years).
• Excellent organisation and time management.
• Ability to work individually and as part of a team.
• Proficiency with Excel, Sage and other accountancy softwares.
• Preferably be fully or part-qualified ACCA, ACA, CIMA or AAT.

The salary for this position is £28,000 per annum.
