Job Purpose
  • Supporting a varied client portfolio, working closely with senior accountants to ensure expectations and deadlines are met
  • Preparation of accounts, tax returns and computations
  • Preparation and submission of VAT returns
  • Preparation of bank reconciliations
  • Liaising with clients, building strong rapport and proactively handling queries
  • Championing your own professional development, enthusiastically undertaking training opportunities
  • Assisting with ad hoc projects where required

Job Requirements
  • ACCA, ACA, equivalent studying or part-qualified
  • Recent experience working in UK practice
  • A proven track record of accounts preparation
  • Good working knowledge of software such as Xero, QuickBooks, and Sage
  • An enthusiastic team player who can also work autonomously
  • A can-do attitude to problem-solving
  • Self-motivated and able to manage your own deadlines and workflow
  • Excellent communication skills and attention to detail
