Role Overview: As an Autism Support Worker, you will play a crucial role in assisting individuals with autism in their daily lives. You’ll work closely with clients on a one-on-one basis, fostering positive relationships and promoting independence. Key Responsibilities:
- Provide personalized support to individuals with autism, tailoring your approach to their unique needs.
- Assist with daily living tasks, including personal care, communication, and social interactions.
- Create and implement individualized support plans, focusing on skill development and enhancing quality of life.
- Foster a safe and supportive environment for children
- Collaborate with other professionals, families, and caregivers to ensure holistic care.
Requirements:
- Experience working with individuals with autism (minimum 1 year preferred).
- Strong communication skills and the ability to build rapport with clients.
- Compassion, patience, and a positive attitude.
- Willingness to work one-on-one with clients.
