Job Title: SEN Design and Technology (D&T) Teacher

Location: Windsor, Berkshire

Salary Range: £34,500 - £51,000

Responsibilities:

• Develop and deliver a high-quality, tailored Design and Technology curriculum for students with SEN.
• Implement innovative teaching strategies to engage and support SEN students, fostering both academic and personal growth.
• Adapt teaching methods to meet the unique needs of each student, ensuring an inclusive learning environment.
• Collaborate with the Special Educational Needs Coordinator (SENCO) and other educators to develop and implement effective SEN strategies across the school.
• Regularly assess and monitor student progress, using data to inform and adjust teaching practices as needed.
• Foster a positive and supportive classroom environment that encourages creativity, participation, and achievement.
• Communicate effectively with parents, guardians, and external specialists to ensure a comprehensive support system for each student.
• Stay updated on the latest advancements in SEN education and Design and Technology teaching, integrating best practices into the curriculum.

Requirements:

• Hold a valid Qualified Teacher Status (QTS) in the UK.
• Extensive experience teaching Design and Technology, with a strong background in working with students with special educational needs.
• Proven ability to adapt teaching methods to meet the diverse needs of SEN students.
• Commitment to continuous professional development and staying informed about advancements in SEN education.
• Excellent communication and collaboration skills for working effectively with colleagues, parents, and external professionals.
• A genuine passion for fostering the academic and personal development of students with SEN.
