Level 1 Teaching Assistant - Special Educational Needs

We are looking for a dedicated Level 1 Teaching Assistant who is passionate about supporting young people with Autism and associated needs. In this role, you will be at the heart of our educational provision, helping students to thrive and develop the necessary skills for life. You will support a small class, assisting in all subjects and fostering opportunities for students to discover their talents and grow in confidence and independence.

Day to Day of the Role:

  • Support a class of up to six pupils across various subjects.
  • Help students develop their talents, interests, and independence.
  • Collaborate with a multi-disciplinary team to ensure the best outcomes for pupils.

About You:

  • Experience working with children with Autism is highly desirable.
  • A passion for supporting young people’s learning and development.
  • A commitment to making a difference in the lives and education of children and young people.
