Lead Maths Teacher

We are seeking a Lead Maths Teacher who is passionate about providing high-quality education and who places students at the center of their teaching practice. In this role, you will be responsible for developing and overseeing the maths curriculum for key stages 3 and 4, ensuring that lessons are engaging and cater to the diverse needs of all students. You will also work collaboratively with colleagues to integrate maths across the curriculum and support the educational objectives outlined in students’ EHCPs.

About You:
  • Qualified Teacher Status (QTS/QTLS) with a specialism in secondary mathematics.
  • Experience in a special education setting, particularly with students with social, emotional, and mental health needs and autism spectrum conditions, is highly desirable.
  • Ability to create inspiring, motivating, and challenging learning experiences.
  • Strong knowledge of the maths subject and curriculum.
  • Willingness to engage with external tests preparation when necessary.
  • Commitment to providing high levels of care and support in line with students’ individual needs.
