SEN PSHE/Citizenship Teacher

  • Pay: Pay to scale, £31350 to £47839

We are seeking a dedicated PSHE/Citizenship Teacher to join our vibrant SEMH school community this September. The ideal candidate will inspire and educate our students on personal, social, health, and economic education, contributing to their holistic development.

Day-to-day of the role:
  • Deliver engaging and relevant PSHE/Citizenship lessons to students.
  • Foster a supportive classroom environment that promotes student well-being and active citizenship.
  • Develop lesson plans that meet the diverse needs of students and adhere to curriculum standards.
  • Assess and monitor student progress, providing feedback and support as needed.
  • Collaborate with colleagues to integrate PSHE/Citizenship education across the curriculum.
  • Participate in school events and initiatives related to student well-being and community engagement.
Required Skills & Qualifications:
  • Proven experience in teaching PSHE/Citizenship.
  • Experience working & support children with SEN/SEMH needs.
  • Strong commitment to promoting students’ well-being and citizenship.
  • Ability to create and deliver engaging lesson plans.
  • Excellent communication and interpersonal skills.
  • A proactive approach to student learning and development.
