Are you passionate about making a difference in the lives of children and young adults with Special Educational Needs (SEN)? Do you have experience working with SEN students and a dedication to providing the highest level of care and support? If so, we invite you to join our dedicated team as a Residential SEN Worker.

Role Overview:
We are seeking a committed and compassionate individual to work in a residential SEN setting, supporting children and young adults aged 6-19. This role involves providing personalized care and support to individuals with a variety of needs, including:

General Learning Difficulties (including Moderate Learning Difficulties)
Specific Learning Difficulties (Dyslexia)
Specific Learning Difficulties (Dyspraxia)
Autistic Spectrum Disorders (ASD)
Speech and Language Difficulties
Social, Emotional, and Mental Health Difficulties
Key Responsibilities:

Providing personal care and support tailored to the individual needs of each student
Assisting with daily activities and encouraging independence
Implementing individualized education and care plans
Supporting students with their educational and social development
Promoting a safe and positive environment
Collaborating with a multidisciplinary team to ensure comprehensive support
Maintaining accurate records and reports on student progress
Requirements:

Experience working with SEN students
Ability to work weekends as part of a rota system
Must have or be willing to obtain a Child and Adult DBS
Strong communication and interpersonal skills
Patience, empathy, and a positive attitude
Flexibility and adaptability in a dynamic working environment
Commitment to continuous professional development
Desirable:

Relevant qualifications in SEN or a related field
Previous experience in a residential care setting
