Exciting Opportunity: SEN Learning Support Worker in Harlow!

About Us:

Our schools in Harlow are committed to providing exceptional education and support for students with SEN. We are seeking an enthusiastic and dedicated SEN Learning Support Worker to join our team and work closely with our students to help them achieve their full potential.

The Role:

As an SEN Learning Support Worker, you will be an integral part of the support team within our schools. Your responsibilities will include assisting students with SEN in their daily activities, supporting their learning and development, and working closely with teachers and other support staff to create a positive learning environment.

Key Responsibilities:

- Provide one-to-one and small group support to students with SEN and additional needs, ensuring they can access the curriculum effectively.

- Assist in the preparation and delivery of tailored learning activities that meet the individual needs of students.

- Work collaboratively with teachers, therapists, and other support staff to implement individual education plans (IEPs) and behaviour management strategies.

- Monitor and track the progress of students, providing feedback to teachers and parents.

Requirements:

- Experience working with children or young adults with SEN in an educational or care setting.

- A compassionate and patient approach, with the ability to build strong relationships with students and colleagues.

- Strong communication and interpersonal skills.

- A commitment to safeguarding and child protection.
