About Us: We are a welcoming and inclusive primary school located in Harrow, HA2. Our goal is to create a nurturing and supportive environment for all our students, particularly those with special educational needs. We are currently seeking a dedicated and compassionate SEN Teaching Assistant to join our team and help us provide tailored educational support to our students.

Key Responsibilities:

• Assist students with special educational needs in a classroom setting.
• Collaborate with the SEN Coordinator to implement Individual Education Plans (IEPs).
• Support the development and delivery of differentiated learning materials.
• Provide one-on-one support to students, addressing both academic and emotional needs.
• Monitor and report on student progress to teachers and parents.
• Foster an inclusive and positive learning environment.
• Assist with classroom management and organisation.
• Participate in relevant training and development opportunities.

Requirements:

• Previous experience as a Teaching Assistant, particularly in an SEN setting.
• A patient and empathetic approach with a solid understanding of special educational needs.
• Strong communication and interpersonal skills.
• Ability to work effectively as part of a team.
• Relevant qualification in education or childcare is desirable.
• Commitment to safeguarding and promoting the welfare of children.
