Role Responsibilities:
- Plan and deliver engaging lessons tailored to meet the individual needs of students with SEN.
- Create and implement effective Individual Education Plans (IEPs) in collaboration with the SEN team.
- Foster a positive and inclusive learning environment that promotes student engagement and progress.
- Collaborate with colleagues, parents, and external agencies to support the holistic development of students with SEN.
Requirements:
- Qualified Teacher Status (QTS) or equivalent teaching qualification.
- Experience working with students with SEN preferred.
- Understanding of different SEN profiles and strategies to support diverse learning needs.
- Strong communication and interpersonal skills.
- Commitment to safeguarding and promoting the welfare of children.
Location: Wirral, with convenient access to public transport links.
To be considered for this position you will:
- have previous school experience and be familiar with the SIMS system
- Be a committed professional
- Be an organised, enthusiastic proactive person
-Hold a child workforce enhanced DBS certificate which is on the update service, or be willing to apply for a new one (costs refunded back to you when you complete 20 days work)
-have satisfactory references
-have a CV must that covers the last 10 years of employment history where possible and any gaps in employment must be explained;
- Have the legal right to work in the UK.
