SEN Teacher
  • Location: Ashford
  • Contract Type: Temp to Permanent
  • Hours: Full-time
  • Salary: £150-£200 per day

We are seeking a dedicated SEN Teacher to join our supportive team. This role involves planning and delivering high-quality lessons tailored to students with diverse needs and collaborating with staff to support student development. The ideal candidate will have a passion for SEN education and a commitment to creating an inclusive learning environment.

Day-to-day of the role:
  • Plan and deliver high-quality lessons tailored to students with diverse educational needs.
  • Assess and track student progress, adapting teaching methods to meet individual needs.
  • Collaborate with other staff, parents, and external professionals to support student development and well-being.
  • Create and maintain a positive, inclusive, and safe learning environment for all students.
  • Utilise a variety of teaching resources and techniques to enhance student learning.
Required Skills & Qualifications:
  • Qualified Teacher Status (QTS) or equivalent.
  • Proven experience working with SEN students.
  • In-depth knowledge of relevant curriculum frameworks and SEN strategies.
  • Strong communication and teamwork skills, with the ability to work effectively with colleagues, parents, and external agencies.
  • A patient, caring, and creative approach to teaching.
