SEN Teacher - Oldham

Tempest Resourcing is currently seeking an experienced SEN Teacher for a specialist school in Oldham. This role is perfect for a dedicated and enthusiastic educator with a passion for improving the lives of young people. CONTRACT DETAILS:

  • Location - Oldham
  • Job Title - SEN Teacher
  • Start date - September 2024
  • Expected end date - Ongoing
  • Contract type - Temporary
  • Full time
  • Rate of pay - £150 - £230 per day (PAYE and Umbrella available)
  • Hours - 8:15 am - 15:30 pm

RESPONSABILITIES:

  • Delivering engaging and effective lessons in line with the national curriculum.
  • Creating a positive and inclusive classroom environment.
  • Managing and supporting students with challenging behaviours and SEMH needs.
  • Collaborating with colleagues to develop and implement individualised education plans (IEPs).
  • Engaging with parents and carers to support student development and well-being.
  • Participating in ongoing professional development opportunities.

CANDIDATES MUST HAVE:

  • Teachers MUST hold either QTS or QTLS status or be an NQT
  • Have at least 3 months experience working within a school in the UK
  • Excellent behaviour management skills
  • A nurturing and caring nature
  • Excellent communication skills
  • DBS on update service or be willing to process a new application
  • References for last 2 years work history
  • Up to date CV
