SEN Teacher
Start Date: September 2024
Salary: £150-£220 (based on experience)
Are you passionate about teaching children with special needs?
GSL Education London is currently seeking a dedicated and passionate SEN Teacher to join one of its client schools in Hammersmith & Fulham. The ideal candidate will have experience working with children with special educational needs and a commitment to making a positive impact on their learning and development.
Responsibilities:- Develop and implement individualized education plans (IEPs) for students with SEN.
- Adapt teaching methods and materials to meet the needs of students.
- Work closely with parents, guardians, and other professionals to support students' educational progress.
- Assess students' progress and provide regular feedback.
- Create a supportive and inclusive classroom environment.
- Manage classroom behavior and ensure the safety and well-being of all students.
- Qualified Teacher Status (QTS) or equivalent.
- Experience working with children with special educational needs.
- Strong communication and organizational skills.
- Ability to work collaboratively with a team of educators and support staff.
- Patience, empathy, and a positive attitude.
- Additional qualifications or training in SEN.
- Experience with specific SEN conditions (e.g., ASD, ADHD, dyslexia).
