Position: We are currently seeking a talented KS1 Teacher to join our dynamic team. In this role, you will have the unique opportunity to work with a small class of 8 children on the ASD pathway, supported by 4 dedicated SEN Teaching Assistants. Your expertise and passion will contribute to creating an engaging and supportive learning environment.

Class Details: You will be teaching a KS1 class consisting of 8 wonderful children on the ASD pathway. The small class size ensures that you can provide individualized attention and tailored support to each student, fostering their personal and academic growth.

Role and Responsibilities: Plan and deliver creative and differentiated lessons to meet the diverse needs of the children in your class. Utilize various teaching strategies and resources to support the development of communication, social skills, and academic progress. Collaborate closely with the SEN Teaching Assistants to create a supportive and inclusive classroom environment. Assess and monitor student progress, providing individualized feedback and implementing appropriate interventions. Work collaboratively with other teachers and professionals within the school to ensure a holistic approach to each child's development. Build strong relationships with parents and carers, maintaining regular communication and involving them in their child's education.

Requirements: Qualified Teacher Status (QTS) with experience teaching KS1 students. Specialism or experience in working with children on the Autism Spectrum Disorder (ASD) pathway. A genuine passion for special education and a commitment to supporting children with diverse learning needs. Excellent communication and interpersonal skills to engage effectively with students, parents, and colleagues. Adaptability and creativity in developing individualized learning strategies. Patience, empathy, and the ability to create a nurturing and inclusive classroom environment.
