Job Summary:

Academics Ltd is looking for a passionate and experienced SEN Teacher to join our team in Haywards Heath. The successful candidate will be responsible for teaching and supporting students with special educational needs, ensuring they receive a high-quality, tailored education. You will develop and implement individualised learning plans, create a positive and inclusive classroom environment, and work closely with other staff and parents to support each student's unique needs.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Plan, deliver, and assess personalised learning programs for students with special educational needs.
  • Create a supportive and engaging learning environment.
  • Collaborate with teaching assistants, support staff, and parents to ensure consistent support for each student.
  • Monitor and report on student progress, adapting teaching methods as necessary.

Requirements:

  • Qualified Teacher Status (QTS) or equivalent.
  • Experience working with children with special educational needs.
  • Strong understanding of various SEN conditions and strategies for support.
  • Excellent communication and interpersonal skills.
  • A commitment to inclusive education and a passion for helping students achieve their potential.
