SEN Teachers in Bristol and Wiltshire

SEN Teacher in Swindon

  • Start Date: Immediate
  • Location: Swindon
  • The Role: This role is working in a specialist school for students aged between 6 - 19 with SEMB/ ASC needs.

SEN Teacher in Bristol

  • Start Date: Immediate
  • Location: Bristol
  • The Role: This role is working in a school for the Deaf in Bristol in a full time capacity. The role would be primarily working with year 7s & year 8s across a variety of subjects. The right candidate would also do some ASDAN and life skills with a small group of year 10 students.

What we are looking for:

  • Previous experience working with SEN or autistic students, particularly in a scondary setting
  • Patience, empathy, and the ability to build a strong relationship with the student
  • Someone with a good understanding of the relevant curriculum
  • Experience of teaching at Secondary School level
  • Confidence and enthusiasm to engage students effectively

Qualifications:

  • Ideally QTS or UK classroom experience. Overseas-trained teachers are also encouraged to apply
  • Up to GCSE standard of education
  • A good understanding of the UK curriculum
