Prospero Teaching are currently recruiting for a SEN Teaching Assistant to work with an organisation which provides both residential and educational support to young people with complex learning and medical needs. This role is full time, and work will cover personal support for children and young adults, creating an environment where the students to achieve their full potential, and have fun. Personal care will be involved as well.

A successful candidate will have previous experience supporting pupils with SEN or supporting individuals with complex needs.

The position will begin as soon as possible, with the likelihood that you will continue through the summer term, and potentially fill a permanent position at the beginning of the next academic year. Additionally, it is a full time position, with working hours Monday Friday 9:30am 3:30pm. The organisation is based in Cheadle, and easily accessible by public transport.

It is essential that you have an up to date DBS on the online update service. If you do not have an up to date DBS, you can obtain one through Prospero Teaching for GBP45.15. You should also have eligibility to work in the UK, and references covering the last 2 years.
