SEN Teaching Assistant in New Malden

Are you passionate about supporting students with special educational needs? We are looking for a dedicated SEN Teaching Assistant in New Malden to join a dynamic SEN school located in New Malden. This role offers a daily rate of £85-100. As a SEN Teaching Assistant, you will play a vital role in providing tailored support and ensuring students receive high-quality education and training.

In this position, you will work closely with teachers in an SEN School setting, assisting in the delivery of personalized education and training programs. As an SEN Teaching Assistant, your efforts will directly impact the learning and development of students, helping them reach their full potential. The SEN school environment is highly supportive, and you will be part of a team that values inclusive education and training.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Provide 1:1 and group support to students as an SEN Teaching Assistant
  • Work alongside other members of staff to create a safe and supportive learning environment
  • Help deliver a range of programmes to meet the needs of students
  • Assist in the development and implementation of individual education and training plans
  • Support and empower each student to achieve their aspirations and goals, whilst developing skills to become more independent members of their community

Requirements:

  • Experience in SEN or working in an SEN school setting is preferred
  • A passion for delivering effective education and training
  • Ability to work as an SEN Teaching Assistant in Sutton, supporting the needs of students
  • Either live in New Malden or live within a commutable distance
  • Have an enhanced DBS on the update service or be willing to apply for a new one
