SEN Teaching Assistant - KS2

At Tradewind we are partnered with an amazing Primary School located in the heart of Hampstead. This school prides itself on creating a caring and nurturing environment for its staff and students.

They are currently recruiting for an SEN Teaching assistant to work in a Year 4 class to help support a pupil with Global Delay, to start in September 2024 The pupil needs extra help with reading, writing, numeracy and communication with others. Through a bespoke curriculum for this pupil you will need to help support with classroom work and social - emotional mental health needs also.

What To Expect From This Opportunity:

• Full-time: Monday - Friday (8:30 - 3:30)
• Hampstead - must be able to commute here
• £425 - £525 per week, term time only
• September 2024 (with option to continue permanent).
• Support student 121 with Global Delay
• Develop your own skills whilst being supported by experienced teachers and support staff
• Build a strong relationship with the pupil

What We Are Looking For:

• An empathetic, caring induvial with a passion for helping others
• Dedicated to creating an inclusive environment whilst being able to celebrate diversity
• Bachelor's degree ideally in psychology or a related subject (2:2 and above)
• Good behaviour management skills
• A positive outlook with a can-do attitude
