Are you passionate about making a difference in the lives of young people with Social, Emotional, and Mental Health (SEMH) needs? Do you have the skills and dedication to support students in their educational journey? If so, we want to hear from you!

We are seeking a committed and enthusiastic SEN Teaching Assistant to join our team and work with students from Year 7 to Year 11.

In this role, you will provide vital support to our students with SEMH needs, helping them to overcome challenges and achieve their full potential.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Support students with SEMH needs in their academic and personal development.
  • Work closely with teachers to implement individualised education plans.
  • Foster a positive and inclusive learning environment.
  • Assist in managing classroom behaviour and promoting social skills.
  • Provide one-on-one or small group support as needed.
  • Monitor and report on student progress to teachers and parents.

Requirements:

  • Experience working with children or young people with SEMH needs.
  • Excellent communication and interpersonal skills.
  • Patience, empathy, and a strong sense of responsibility.
  • Ability to work effectively as part of a team.
  • Relevant qualifications or training in SEN support is desirable.
