LTF Recruitment are now recruiting for a Teaching Assistant for one of our partner schools in Brixton. They are currently securing candidates for a brand-new specialist provision unit within the school to ensure they can provide the highest quality of education to students with additional needs.

In this role your main duty will be to work closely with the both the SENCo and the Classroom teacher to encourage interaction within lessons. You will keep accurate records of named students physical and educational progress within the setting who you will support on a 1:1 and small group basis.

Ideal Requirements:

  • Experience working in a primary school or nursery (Paid work, placement or voluntary)
  • Knowledge of the primary curriculum.
  • Teaching assistant or Childcare qualification or relevant degree
  • Experience or a willing to work with children with SEN.
  • A good team player be able to work with other staff and under direction of class teacher.
  • A positive caring and can-do approach
