Role - SEN Teaching Assistant

Location - Canterbury

Start - September 2024 - full time - long term

Hours - 8:15am - 3:30pm daily

Daily rate - Between £83.33 and £100 depending on experience

Tradewind Recruitment are actively looking for an SEN Teaching Assistant to work at a local Canterbury secondary school. The ideal candidate will have proven experience of working with students with Dyslexia and Dyspraxia in a secondary setting.

The role:

  • Providing 1-1 support students with Dyslexia and Dyspraxia
  • Working closely with the SENCO and others in the Department on a daily basis
  • Ensuring progress is recorded accurately

Requirements:

  • Proven experience of working with secondary age students with Dyslexia and Dyspraxia
  • Excellent communication skills
  • Be available daily between the hours of 8:15am and 3:30pm.
  • Legal right to work in the UK
  • Hold or be willing to apply for an Enhanced DBS Disclosure, Overseas Police Clearances (if applicable) and professional reference checks
