Prospero Teaching are currently recruiting for an experienced and motivated SEN Teaching Assistant. Our client is a mainstream Secondary school rated based within Central Birmingham with easy transport links and free on-site parking.

The successful candidate will:
· Work 1:1 with children who have SEN such as ASC, ADHD, or other learning difficulties
· Create fun and creative learning resources while developing childrens understanding
· Use phonics to aid speech and language development
· Work with class teachers in lessons in order to support those with SEN in mainstream schooling

Location - Birmingham
Position - SEN Teaching Assistant
Type of work - Assisting children on a 1:1 basis
Start date - ASAP
Likely Duration - Ongoing
Position end date - Ongoing
Contract type - Temporary
Full-time (Monday-Friday)

Experience, Training and Qualifications
It is essential that you have school admin and CMIS system experience.
Up-to-date Safeguarding training is imperative; you can undertake a free course with Prospero Teaching if you have not completed a Safeguarding course in the last 12 months.

To be eligible for any job with Prospero Teaching, you must
Hold the Right to Work in the UK.
Possess an enhanced child barred list DBS certificate registered with the online update service or be willing to process a new application.
Provide two relevant professional references.
