SEN Teaching Assistant

We are on the lookout for a compassionate and enthusiastic SEN Teaching Assistant to provide dedicated support to students with special educational needs. This role is ideal for someone who has a genuine desire to help students with conditions such as autism spectrum disorders, ADHD, and anxiety to achieve their full potential.

Key Responsibilities:
  • Offer tailored one-on-one or small group support to enhance student learning.
  • Assist in the delivery and implementation of EHCPs and behaviour management strategies.
  • Adapt educational materials to suit the individual needs of students.
  • Create and maintain a positive, inclusive classroom atmosphere.
  • Track and document student progress, providing valuable feedback to educators and families.
  • Support classroom management and maintain an organised learning environment.
Requirements:
  • Experience in working with children, especially those with SEN, is valued.
  • Relevant qualifications in supporting teaching and learning or SEN support are advantageous.
  • Patience, empathy, and a dedicated passion for educational support.
  • Excellent communication and teamwork skills.
  • A strong commitment to child safeguarding principles.
