Are you looking for a Permanent position in a school where you can make a difference?
SEN Teaching Assistant: Complete Classroom Services are looking for SEN Teaching Assistants to support students aged 11 - 16 years in at a SEN school based in Eltham, South London.

Requirements:

  • Previous experience working with Children or young adults in an educational setting.
  • Experience with SEN which could include ASD, complex needs, Speech and Language, PMLD, MLD, SLD.
  • Primary or Secondary curriculum knowledge
  • Be able to maintain high standards of health and safety.

Essential Skills

  • Be Patient, enthusiastic and resilient.
  • Know how to differentiate: each child learns differently.
  • Maintain a flexible 'can do’ approach.
  • Able to work 1:1 or with individuals or small groups.
  • Appropriately use recording and reporting processes whenever appropriate.
