TimePlan Education is working in partnership with a Primary School inNewham. The primary school have an exciting opportunity for seeking a SEN Teaching Assistant to join them in September 2024.

The primary school is a vibrant and inclusive primary school who are committed to providing a nurturing environment for all children. They are seeking someone with experience within a classroom setting who have supported children with special educational needs. The position is to support across early years up to key stage 1.

As a SEN Teaching Assistant, you will be an integral part of the team, working closely with a dynamic group of special needs children with autism.

Responsibilities Include:

  • Providing one-to-one support to children during classroom activities
  • Assisting the class teacher in implementing personalise learning plans
  • Creating a positive and inclusive learning environment
  • Collaborating with other support staff and professionals to address individual needs
  • Implementing behaviour management strategies in line with the school's policies
