Edu Talent Agency has a fantastic SEN School looking for Learning Support Assistants to work within a number of classes, supporting children with additional needs in September 2024 for the new academic year.

The SEN School is based in close to Tunbridge Wells and has a brilliant and supportive SLT with an outstanding Ofsted.

They are looking for supportive, dedicated and passionate Learning Support Assistants to work along side the class Teacher and support the students either one 1-1 basis or within groups.

Below are also some of the things you may do throughout your day:

  • Getting the classroom ready for lessons and clearing away afterwards to maintain a safe and clean environment
  • Assisting Teachers in preparing the lesson materials and school equipment
  • Recording and reporting a pupil's progress to the Teacher
  • Helping pupils stay focused during class hours
  • Supervising group activities, sports events and school outings
  • Helping Teachers manage student behaviour
  • Looking after children who are unwell or upset
  • Providing a healthy and safe learning environment for children

Experience not necessary but if you have experience in working with pupils with any of the additional needs below that would be valuable.

  • ADHD

The working hours are 8:30am to 16:00pm with an hours lunch break.
