About the Role:

As a SEND Teaching Assistant, you will play a vital role in providing tailored support to students with SEND, ensuring they have equal opportunities to succeed in a mainstream educational environment. Your responsibilities will include:

  • Supporting students with SEND in various subjects
  • Assisting in the development and implementation of Individual Education Plans (IEPs)
  • Working closely with teachers, parents, and other professionals to create a supportive learning environment
  • Encouraging positive social interactions and promoting inclusion
  • Monitoring and reporting on students' progress

What We’re Looking For:

  • Previous experience as a Teaching Assistant or in a similar role
  • Relevant qualifications (e.g., Level 2/3 Teaching Assistant, SEND qualifications)
  • Excellent communication and interpersonal skills
  • ?? A caring and patient nature, with a genuine passion for supporting students with SEND
  • Ability to work effectively as part of a team
