SEN Teaching Assistant
Location: SW2, Lambeth
Payscale: £85-£105
Duration: Long Term to Permanent
Start Date: September 2024

Are you an ambitious individual looking to expand your existing teaching experience? Do you hold a strong passion for helping young students reach their full potential?

LTF Recruitment is seeking graduates to begin work in a Lambeth-based primary school. The school are looking for driven and nurturing personalities to work with children who have SEN, including autism (ASD), Moderate Learning Difficulties and Behavioural Difficulties

Responsibilities:

  • Assist young students with their learning in a class environment, small interventions or 1:1 basis.
  • Help the classroom teacher with curriculum delivery and supervise ongoing learning progress and student development.
  • Work closely with children who have SEN and provide additional support.
  • Provide nurturing, stimulating and positive environments for all students.
  • Assist play/lunch areas to ensure an ongoing level of safeguarding.
  • Working with children in KS1 and KS2.

About you:

  • A relevant degree in Education/Psychology or equivalent qualifications.
  • Previous experience working with children/pupils is desirable.
  • Great communication skills.
  • Proactive, positive, and friendly personality.
  • Valid, in-date DBS, and two references necessary.
