SEN Teaching Assistant - North London

Rate: £90-£100 per day
Borough: North London
Hours: 9.00-16:00, Monday to Friday
Start Date: September 2024
Duration: Most positions last for the academic year with opportunities for permanent roles after 6-12 months

Responsibilities:

  • As an SEN Teaching Assistant, support learners aged 5-11 years old within an SEN School in North London.
  • Provide assistance to students with Moderate to Severe Learning Disabilities and Autism.
  • Work in partnership with peers, parents, and carers to deliver exceptional education and training.
  • Be committed to long-term work as an SEN Teaching Assistant in North London.

The Ideal Candidate:

  • Dedicated to achieving the best outcomes for young people in the role of SEN Teaching Assistant.
  • Eager to work in SEND and passionate about supporting students with SEND.
  • Approachable and equipped to engage effectively with learners as an SEN Teaching Assistant.
  • Willing to assist with personal care and occasionally swim with pupils if needed.
