SEN Teaching Assistant Role

Location: Bromley
Role: Full-time, Monday to Friday
Start Date: September
Requirements: Enhanced DBS on the update service

We are seeking a dedicated and compassionate SEN Teaching Assistant for a full-time position in Bromley. This role involves providing 1:1 support to children with mild SEN, helping them to thrive in a mainstream primary school setting.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Provide 1:1 support to children with mild SEN, helping them engage with and access the curriculum.
  • Assist in creating a safe, supportive, and stimulating learning environment.
  • Implement individualised learning plans and strategies tailored to the needs of the child.
  • Collaborate with teachers, parents, and external agencies to support the child's development.
  • Foster a positive, inclusive, and accepting classroom atmosphere.

Qualifications and Skills:

  • Previous experience working with children with SEN is preferred.
  • Strong commitment to creating an inclusive and supportive learning environment.
  • Excellent communication and interpersonal skills.
  • Ability to work collaboratively as part of a dedicated team.
  • Patience, empathy, and a passion for supporting children's development.
