Job Description: We are seeking a dedicated and enthusiastic Teaching Assistant to join their team. The successful candidate will work closely with teachers and other support staff to provide individualized support to students with a range of SEN.
Key Responsibilities:
- Assist in the implementation of individualized education plans (IEPs) for students with SEN.
- Support classroom activities and provide one-on-one assistance to students as needed.
- Foster a positive and inclusive learning environment.
- Monitor and document student progress, providing feedback to teachers and parents.
- Collaborate with teachers, therapists, and other professionals to ensure comprehensive support for students.
- Participate in training and professional development opportunities.
Requirements:
- Previous experience working with children with special educational needs is preferred.
- Relevant qualifications or training in special education.
- Strong communication and interpersonal skills.
- Patience, empathy, and a genuine passion for supporting students with SEN.
- Ability to work effectively as part of a team.
