SEN Teaching Assistant / Southampton

Are you interested in supporting children with Special Educational or Social, Emotional and Mental Health Needs?

We are looking for bright and enthusiastic SEN Teaching Assistant's available to start ASAP to support our client SEN and SEMH schools across Southampton.

As an SEN Teaching Assistant you must be able to follow the core values of the schools, show respect, take responsibility and be ready to learn. Your aim would be to ensure children who attend the school are able to experience an excellent academic experience whilst feeling supported by the staff. You should always be prepared to support the pupils in class and with their every day life during school days!

Due to the needs of the students, ideally you will have relevant, recent experience or qualifications, we will consider candidates qualified in Psychology, Counselling or Criminology but other subjects will also be considered.

We work with both SEN and SEMH schools across the Southampton area - this crosses over both Primary and Secondary.
