Job Opportunity: SEN Teaching Assistants in Wakefield

Are you passionate about making a difference in the lives of children with special educational needs (SEN)? We are looking for dedicated and experienced SEN Teaching Assistants to join our team in Wakefield.

Positions Available:

  • Part-time
  • Full-time
  • Adhoc supply

Key Responsibilities:

  • Provide tailored support to SEN pupils, helping them achieve their full potential.
  • Assist in the development and implementation of individualized education plans (IEPs).
  • Foster a positive and inclusive learning environment.
  • Collaborate with teachers, parents, and other professionals to support student progress.
  • Adapt teaching methods and materials to meet the diverse needs of students.

Requirements:

  • Proven experience working with SEN pupils.
  • Strong communication and interpersonal skills.
  • Patience, empathy, and a genuine passion for supporting children with special needs.
  • Relevant qualifications are a bonus but not essential.
