Exciting Opportunity: SENCO Position at an Ofsted Rated 'Good' School in Hackney!

Are you a passionate and experienced SENCO looking to make a real difference in the lives of children with special educational needs? We have a fantastic opportunity for you to join our client school in Hackney. This role is available on a full-time basis or for 4 days a week.
Key Responsibilities:
- Lead and Manage SEN Provision: Oversee the day-to-day operation of the school's SEN policy, coordinating provision for students with special educational needs.
- Individualised Support: Develop and implement individualised education plans (IEPs) to ensure all students receive the support they need.
- Collaboration: Work closely with teachers, parents, and external agencies to provide comprehensive support for SEN students.
- Training and Development: Provide training and support to staff on best practices for supporting students with SEN.
- Monitoring and Evaluation: Track and monitor the progress of SEN students, ensuring that interventions are effective and making necessary adjustments.
- Safeguarding: Uphold the highest standards of safeguarding and child protection, ensuring the safety and well-being of all students
Qualifications:

- Qualified Teacher Status from the UK
- NASENCO (Desirable)
- Teaching experience with SEN students from the UK
- Knowledge of safeguarding and child protection.
