Are you a passionate and experienced SENCO looking to make a real difference in the lives of children with special educational needs? We have a fantastic opportunity for you to join our client school in Hackney. This role is available on a full-time basis or for 4 days a week.

Key Responsibilities:

• Lead and Manage SEN Provision: Oversee the day-to-day operation of the school's SEN policy, coordinating provision for students with special educational needs.
• Individualised Support: Develop and implement individualised education plans (IEPs) to ensure all students receive the support they need.
• Collaboration: Work closely with teachers, parents, and external agencies to provide comprehensive support for SEN students.
• Training and Development: Provide training and support to staff on best practices for supporting students with SEN.

• Monitoring and Evaluation: Track and monitor the progress of SEN students, ensuring that interventions are effective and making necessary adjustments.
• Safeguarding: Uphold the highest standards of safeguarding and child protection, ensuring the safety and well-being of all students

Qualifications:

• • Qualified Teacher Status from the UK
  • NASENCO (Desirable)
  • Teaching experience with SEN students from the UK
  • Knowledge of safeguarding and child protection.
