One of our great secondary schools specialising in autism is looking for an experienced Learning Leader to start in September. This school is dedicated to fostering a nurturing and engaging environment where students thrive, making this a great opportunity for those looking to work within an inclusive SEND environment work at Middle Leadership level.

The Role:

We are looking for an innovative Learning Leader to oversee English and foundation subjects including Art and Humanities. You will lead curriculum development, support teaching staff, and enhance student engagement and achievement in these areas.

Responsibilities:

  • Lead the design and implementation of the English and foundation subjects curriculum.
  • Support and mentor teaching staff in effective instructional practices.
  • Monitor and enhance student progress in English, Art, and Humanities.
  • Foster a stimulating and inclusive learning environment.

About You:

  • Qualified Teacher Status (QTS) or equivalent.
  • Experience in teaching English and/or foundation subjects.
  • Strong leadership and curriculum development skills.
  • Effective communication and teamwork abilities.
  • Understanding of autism-specific educational needs.
