Join Our Team as an SEND Teaching Assistant!

Are you passionate about making a difference in the lives of children with Special Educational Needs and Disabilities (SEND)? Do you thrive in an environment where every day presents a new opportunity to support and inspire young learners? If so, we want you to join our team as an SEND Teaching Assistant! We are looking for two SEND TA's who can work 1:1 confidently and Long-Term, the job will stat in September (new academic year) within a Primary School in Derby, Derbyshire

What We Require:

  • Experience: Previous experience working with children with SEND is preferred, but not essential. We welcome applications from candidates with a genuine enthusiasm for supporting the unique needs of every child.
  • Qualifications: A relevant qualification in education, childcare, or support work is advantageous. However, we value dedication, empathy, and a willingness to learn above all else.
  • Understanding of SEND: A basic understanding of various SEND conditions and their impact on learning and development is beneficial. We provide training and resources to help you support our students effectively.
  • Patience and Flexibility: Working with children with SEND requires patience, adaptability, and a positive attitude. We seek individuals who can remain calm under pressure and adjust their approach to meet the diverse needs of our students.
  • Teamwork: Collaboration is at the heart of what we do. We look for candidates who can work effectively as part of a team, communicate openly, and contribute to a positive working environment.
  • MUST have 1:1 experience with SEN children!
