Role and Responsibilities:

We are looking to recruit a SEND Teacher to join this thriving specialist School. You will be responsible for the teaching of engaging and challenging lessons, ensuring that the department and the school are successful in achieving its aims.

Person Specification:

  • Comprehensive understanding of teaching methodologies, learning processes, and qualifications.
  • Proven experience working in non-traditional educational settings with students who present challenging behaviours
  • Strong ability to empathize with and support learners' development.
  • Thorough knowledge of safeguarding procedures.
  • Capability to work collaboratively within a small team.
  • Exceptional delivery and communication skills.
  • Reliability, flexibility, adaptability, and a talent for motivating and inspiring others are essential.
  • Excellent coordination and organizational abilities.
  • Demonstrated history of student achievement
  • Innovative, quick-thinking, and versatile.
  • Outstanding time management skills
  • Proficient in general ICT skills, including Microsoft Office.
  • Experience working with E3/L1 qualifications.
  • Relevant teaching qualification or significant vocational experience is essential.
  • You will hold relevant, professional teaching qualification such as; degree or PGCE or equivalent.
