SEND Teaching Assistant- Flixton, Trafford

Educate GM’s partner school in Flixton, Trafford are looking to recruit a SEND Teaching Assistant to join their thriving and diverse school.

You will join a successful and highly regarded school within Trafford where the children blossom. The school has supportive staff members who are passionate about high standards and working as part of a team. The school is very passionate about staff development, and you will be supported to excel in your role.

The role isfull-time, for thefull academic yearand will commence fromSeptember 2024. The rolehas the possibility of a permanent position becoming available the following year. This fantastic opportunity will pay £85-£95 depending on experience.

You will be working alongside an experienced class teacher, providing exceptional support to children with SEND or additional needs. At Educate GM, we believe that everyone should get the same opportunity to reach their full potential, thriving academically and socially.

To be successful in this role you will need:

• Level 1-3 Teaching Assistant Qualification or working towards this.
• Experience in teaching in EYSF and/or KS1/2 (preferably SEN experience)
• Great behaviour management
• Positive attitude through challenging times
• A genuine passion to support each child to reach their true potential.
• Care & Patience.
• Passion for helping people reach their goals.
• All candidates must have a valid enhanced Disclosure and Barring Service check (DBS)
• Your CV must cover the last 10 years of employment history where possible, and any employment breaks must be explained.
• You must have the legal right to work in the UK.
