Reed Education are working with an excellent special school based in Bridgend, who are pioneers in special education, with high expectations for all. The school caters for a wide range of learning needs, including a centre for Autism. With a multi-professional team of staff and therapists who work together to provide a welcoming and motivating learning experience for all.

We are looking for learning support assistants who can join our team on a full-time or ad-hoc supply basis. You will be responsible for assisting teachers in delivering engaging, relevant and differentiated lessons for pupils with SEND, following the Curriculum for Wales. You will also work closely with other staff, parents and external agencies to ensure the best outcomes for our pupils.

To apply for this role, you must have:

- A relevant qualification in supporting teaching and learning, such as NVQ Level 2 or 3, or equivalent

- Experience of working with children with SEND, preferably in a special school setting

- Knowledge of the SEND Code of Practice and the Curriculum for Wales

- A positive, flexible and creative approach to supporting learning

- Excellent communication and interpersonal skills

- A commitment to continuous professional development

The pay rate for this role is £12.82 per hour, depending on experience and qualifications. You will also benefit from:
