Position Details:
Role: SEND TA in SEN Hub
Location: Swadlincote
Work Schedule: 5 days per week
Key Responsibilities:
Provide dedicated support to students with SEN needs
Assist in the implementation of individualized education plans (IEPs) and behavior support strategies.
Providing personal care
Confident working with challenging behaviour
Foster a supportive and inclusive learning environment for students with SEND.
Collaborate with classroom teachers and other support staff to meet the diverse needs of students.
Monitor student progress and communicate effectively with parents and relevant stakeholders.
Requirements:
Previous experience working as a Teaching Assistant, particularly with students with SEND.
Knowledge and understanding of strategies for supporting students with SEND.
Excellent communication and interpersonal skills.
Ability to work effectively as part of a team and independently.
Commitment to promoting the well-being and academic success of all students.
