SEND Teaching Assistant

Cover People are currently recruiting for a SEND Teaching Assistant for a full-time role within a Primary School in Rochdale.

The Role

A primary school in Rochdale is currently looking for an SEN Teaching Assistant to support children with SEND and requires additional support. The school have requested applications from Teaching Assistants who have previous experience working with children with challenging behaviour and additional needs. The successful Teaching Assistant will be patient, calm and have the ability and desire to go above and beyond in order to show a flexible approach in both teaching styles as well as managing behaviour.

This is a full-time role with an ASAP start.

The candidate must have:

  • 6 months experience working with children
  • Excellent behaviour management skills
  • Excellent communication skills
  • DBS on update register
  • References for last 2 years work history
  • Up to date CV
