One of our great secondary schools specialising in autism is looking for an experienced SEND Teaching Assistant to start in September. This school is dedicated to fostering a nurturing and engaging environment where students thrive, making this a great opportunity for Teaching Assistants looking to work within an inclusive SEND environment.

The Role:

As a SEND LSA, you'll support students with autism in engaging with the curriculum, developing life skills, and managing behaviour.

Responsibilities:

  • Provide one-on-one or group support.
  • Assist teachers in lesson delivery.
  • Encourage positive social interactions.
  • Help manage behaviour and document progress.

About You:

  • Experience with autism or SEND.
  • Strong communication skills.
  • Patience and empathy.
  • Relevant qualifications (e.g., CACHE Level 3).
