Senior Accountant Insurance

An new opportunity has arisen with the Corporate Accounts function of this leading Lloyd's insurer. With an established team and with a fast growth trajectory this is great environment for a qualified accountant with insurance experience to join this growing team! This is wide ranging role has duties covering :

  • Production of consolidations and group reporting to the parent company
  • Legal entity reporting including commentary on key movements
  • UK and overseas statutory reporting
  • Preparation of board papers for sign off
  • Regulatory reporting including Lloyd's (eg QF1/AF1), UK and overseas regulators
  • Development, streamlining and improvement of accounting process and controls including intercompany and balance sheet reconciliation processes
  • Support for the corporate tax returns as well as Lloyd's related submissions
  • Working closely with other finance teams to conduct broker financial reviews
  • Ad hoc projects

You will be a qualified accountant (ACA, ACCA, CIMA) with demonstrable experience working within the insurance market (Lloyd's or company market) either within practice or industry. It would suit technically minded accountants who are keen to really add value to the finance teams they work in.
