Key Responsibilities
- Statutory Accounts: Oversee the preparation of statutory accounts, ensuring accuracy and regulatory compliance.
- Month-End & Year-End Close: Lead financial close processes, ensuring timely and accurate reporting.
- Strategic Financial Guidance: Deliver insightful financial advice to clients, supporting strategic decision-making.
- Process Improvement: Collaborate with internal teams to streamline processes and enhance efficiency.
- Regulatory Compliance: Stay informed on regulatory developments and ensure adherence to tax laws and reporting requirements.
- Team Mentorship: Support and mentor junior colleagues, contributing to their growth and development.
- Proven experience within an accounting practice.
- Strong technical knowledge of accounting standards and regulatory requirements.
- Proficient in accounting software and Microsoft Excel; familiarity with QuickBooks and/or Xero is a plus.
- Excellent analytical skills and strong attention to detail.
- Confident communicator with solid client relationship skills.
- Adaptable and comfortable working in a dynamic, fast-paced environment.
- Salary: Up to £60,000 (dependent on experience)
- Working Model: 1 day a week WFH
